Position: Finance Business Partner
Start Date: Q4 2025
Location: FFM area, Germany — hybrid with partial home office flexibility

Our client, an international industrial group with private equity backing and production sites in Germany, South America and the far east, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead its global cost management and production controlling activities. This role will provide financial and operational leadership to ensure efficiency, transparency, and cross-site comparability across the company’s manufacturing footprint.

The Head of Production Controlling will:

• Lead a team of six production business partners (3 in Germany, 3 with matrix reporting lines internationally)
• Track and analyse production costs (raw materials, labour, overheads), ensuring adherence to budget.
• Establish and standardise production controlling processes across all global sites.
• Deliver detailed cost breakdowns to identify inefficiencies and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Analyse variances between actual and budgeted production costs, with corrective action planning.
• Partner with production teams to create accurate and realistic budgets and forecasts.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in production management, supply chain, or a related field, ideally with controlling / accounting exposure.
• Proven leadership or cross-functional team management experience in a global environment.
• Certifications such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or PMP preferred.
• Strong numeracy, IT literacy, and analytical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence across all levels.
• Proactive, ownership-driven, with a critical and structured mindset.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Fluent in English and German.
