PHIPPS CAMERON: A HISTORY

For a decade, Phipps Cameron has operated in its niche: the brainchild of founders Giles Cameron and Charles Phipps, the business has changed the landscape of in-house transformational corporate finance. Strategy, M&A, and value creation functions were underserved, still treated as external advisory add-ons. Giles and Charles saw a better way – bringing elite, commercially-minded talent from consulting and investment banking directly in-house.

From Strategy and M&A, we expanded into Finance Leadership, Transformation, Restructuring, and Integration – all client-led, all built to the same standard of precision, insight, and speed.

Mandates were global from day one. Over time, we established specialist functions across our regional hubs – UK, US, DACH, Benelux, France, Nordics, and Southern Europe – combining local market knowledge with global reach. Offices in London and Hamburg, and New York soon, support our scale, while senior leaders alongside Giles and Charles maintain continuity, quality, and market insight.
