Senior M&A Associate – Manager
Job description
We are partnering with a PE Backed fast-growing player in the Italian financial services sector. With a clear buy-and-build vision and a strong appetite for acquisitions, the business is embarking on an ambitious growth journey, consolidating its position as a market leader and creating exciting opportunities for ambitious M&A professionals.
As part of this journey, they are looking for a driven Senior M&A Associate – Manager to join the corporate M&A team. Reporting directly to the Head of M&A, this role offers exposure to high-profile transactions, direct interaction with investors and target companies, and the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s expansion strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving the execution of M&A projects, encompassing financial modeling, due diligence, and deal closing.
- Managing and coordinating due diligence across multiple workstreams, aligning internal cross-functional teams with external advisors.
- Creating high-quality presentations, valuation analyses, and investment materials for senior management and investors.
- Facilitating negotiations with target companies and assisting in drafting transaction documentation.
- Performing market and competitor benchmarking to identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
- Relevant working experience in M&A gained within investment banking, Big 4 transaction services, or financial advisory firms.
- Previous exposure to insurance or financial services transactions is highly valued.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Skilled communicator, confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and external parties.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
