M&A and Integration Associate
Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated M&A and Integration Associate to join a leading TMT business. This role will be responsible for supporting the full transaction lifecycle – from evaluation and execution of acquisitions to hands-on post-deal integration and performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modelling capabilities, deal execution experience, and proven ability to translate strategy into operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Support end-to-end M&A processes, including origination, due diligence, valuation, deal execution, and integration planning.
-
Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, forecast performance, and support decision-making.
-
Drive integration activities, working with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operational handover and delivery of synergies.
-
Monitor post-acquisition performance, track KPIs, and provide financial insights to inform ongoing business decisions.
-
Prepare high-quality strategic and financial materials for senior leadership, board, and investors (e.g., IC decks, dashboards, performance summaries).
-
Conduct market and competitive research to support strategic growth initiatives across the TMT sector.
-
Partner with senior stakeholders across the business, including regular exposure to C-suite executives.
-
Contribute to long-term strategic planning by supporting financial modelling, scenario analysis, and development of investment cases.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
-
4+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or similar environments.
-
Strong financial modelling skills – with the ability to build, manage, and interpret complex models.
-
Demonstrated experience in M&A deal execution and integration, ideally with in-house exposure to post-acquisition performance monitoring.
-
Commercially astute, with strong business judgment and ability to think strategically.
-
Highly analytical, numerate, and intellectually curious.
-
Comfortable creating strategic materials (e.g., investment committee decks, market research, long-term plans).
-
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, working independently with limited oversight.
-
Confident communicator with the gravitas to work directly with senior leadership and the C-suite.
