Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the FP&A function, driving financial planning, forecasting, and decision-making to support our organization's growth and long-term objectives. As a key member of the leadership team, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to provide actionable insights and ensure alignment of financial strategies with business goals.

Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Lead the end-to-end financial planning and forecasting process to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable insights are delivered to leadership.
- Financial Analysis: Provide clear and insightful analyses of financial performance, trends, and opportunities to optimize resource allocation.
- Budget Management: Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and ensuring budgetary accountability across teams.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, providing financial expertise and advisory to drive data-informed decision-making.
- Reporting & Presentations: Develop and present financial reports, KPIs, and dashboards for stakeholders, including senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve FP&A processes, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- Scenario Planning: Support strategic decision-making through scenario modeling and "what-if" analyses to evaluate business risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in complex or fast-paced industries is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in financial modeling, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software is desirable.
- Strategic Mindset: Strong business acumen and the ability to see the bigger picture to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop diverse teams, promoting growth and collaboration.
- Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen ability to identify root causes and present creative solutions.

Day-to-Day
- Partner with department heads to review financial performance, discuss progress, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Review and approve consolidated financial forecasts, reports, and dashboards for accuracy and insights.
- Oversee the preparation of the monthly financial reviews and board packages.
- Manage resources and timelines for the annual budget cycle, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.
- Develop strategic models to evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, or investments.
- Provide mentorship to FP&A team members, setting goals, providing feedback, and encouraging skills development.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on cost management and capital allocation decisions.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure financial and operational alignment in achieving company objectives.
