Overview
We are working with a private equity-backed, mission-critical software and services platform. The business is a scaled, high-growth platform with strong recurring revenue and a clear value creation plan.
The company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to partner closely with the CEO and sponsor to drive the next phase of growth.
The Role
The CFO will lead all aspects of finance, including financial strategy, reporting, capital structure, and operational performance, while supporting M&A and preparing the business for a future liquidity event.
This is a high-impact leadership role in a PE-backed environment, requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership

Partner with CEO and Board on strategy, growth initiatives, and value creation planning

Drive data-led decision making across pricing, customer economics, and investment priorities

Support M&A strategy, including sourcing, diligence, and integration
Financial Leadership

Own FP&A, forecasting, and long-range planning

Deliver high-quality board, investor, and lender reporting

Lead financial analysis of ARR, retention, margins, and unit economics
Operational Excellence

Build and scale a best-in-class finance organisation

Drive process improvement, automation, and systems optimisation

Improve visibility into performance metrics and operational KPIs
Governance & Controls

Ensure strong financial controls, audit readiness, and compliance

Manage capital structure, debt relationships, and cash flow

Lead year-end audit and tax processes
Candidate Profile
Experience
-
Proven CFO in a private equity-backed software, SaaS, or tech-enabled services business

Track record of scaling finance functions in growth environments

Experience supporting M&A and/or successful exit processes

Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, LTV/CAC)
